About the materials:
Gembone is a dinosaur bone that has become mineralized over millions of years. During fossilization the dinosaur bone is replaced by minerals like agate or jasper through a process called permineralization, making it colorful and resembling a gemstone. This Gembone is from the Colorado Plateau of Utah and Colorado. It has spectacular blue cells with black webbing.
This piece was handcrafted by me in my studio. I do not use pre-fabricated settings, therefore each piece is a unique, one of a kind item. The item in the picture is what you will receive.
